Abstract

In this study, Al203-TiO2 and Al203-Ti02-rGO nanocomposites were synthesized using hydrothermal under temperature of 150° for 24 hours at different washing pH. The characterizations of nanocomposites w re X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscope, Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscope and UV-Vis Spectrometer. The result showed nanocomposite with rGO addition enhanced the crystallinity of the nanocomposite. Different pH using during washing process has a little effect on crystallinity on Al203-TiO2 and Al203-Ti02-rGO nanocomposite where nanocomposite with pH 7 has more crystalline Al203 peaks. Morphology of nanocomposite with addition of rGO has a larger structure than that of without rGO. All nanocomposites have •0H group, Al-O-Al and Ti-O-Ti bonding. Nanocomposites with rGO has -C≡C-, C-O, COO and C=O bonding. Under visible light condition, alkaline condition showed the highest MO absorption without addition of rGO. Under UV illumination, neutral pH showed the highest photodegradation with addition of rGO.
