Alocasia longiloba Miq belongs to Araceae family, which has the medicinal potential. The study on its antioxidant properties are important in order to know the active compounds. Currently, aroids medicinal properties are not widely known and there is lack of data regarding this species. In this study, the total phenolic content and antioxidant activity of Alocasia longiloba Miq. were determined by using UV-visible spectrophotometer. Methanol, ethyl acetate, and hexane were used in this study to extract the plant materials. From this study, it showed that the ethyl acetate extract had the highest content of phenolic with 46.013 mg GAE/g followed by methanol extract (32.936 mg GAE/g) and hexane extract (31.782 mg GAE/g).
