The study area is located at Sungai Chepuan, Kuala Betis, Gua Musang with longitude of 101 '46' 51.11" E and 101 °49' 34.26" E and Latitude that covers the study area is 4 °57' 42.67" N and 5 °00' 23.87" N. The objective of this study is to produce a geological map with a scale of 1: 25,000 area of study and to study granitoid rocks geology in the study area. The geomorphology of the study area is classified into hilly and mountain where the area is within 140 to 380 metres above the sea level. The lithology in the study area consists of two rocks units which area of metasediments and granite. The study area can be correlated to the Gua Musang Formation. The geochemical analyis was carried out to identify the the classification and tectonic setting of granitoid rocks using X-Ray Fluorescence (XRF). While the rare earth elements (REE) distribution in granitoid rocks also is identified by using Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry (ICP-MS) to know the petrogenesis of the granitoid rocks. In conclude, the granitoid in the study area is I-type by the result of metaluminous from the diagram of A=A1-(K+Na+2Ca) vs B=Fe+Mg+Ti and the Europium (Eu) depletion in Spider diagram for REE primitive mantle, (Sun & McDonough, 1995). The tectonic setting of granitoid is syn-collision by referring to diagram of R1 - R2 (Batchelor + Bowden 1985). While the granitoid contains five Light Rare Earth Element (LREE) and ten Heavy Rare Earth Element (HREE). The highest value for LREE is Cerium (Ce) while for HREE is Gadolinium (Gd).
