Abstract

Today, engineers and architects use and combine various materials such as concrete, steel, plastic, glass and so on. By-products were also developed due to the excess of these materials during manufacturing process and one of it is pallets. The use of pallets for furniture is increasingly important for manufacturers. This is because the pallets are readily available and one is removed. The pallet is a flat carrier of the structure used to accommodate the container when lifted by a phoenix, pallet jack or other jacks. The study highlights process of using pallets to make furniture which it does not require high and durable use. With a systematic furniture designs process, it can also save cost, durable and fit perfectly anywhere, even outside the area or exposed. The research methodology refers to the flow chart beginning with design study, material selection and manufacturing process. Original native pallets were cut according to the specified size. Then the surface of the pallets were fitted with crabs, grills and sandpaper machines. After that, "wood crusher" was used to seal the rugs on the wooden pallets. To get a smooth and smooth round, the molding machine was used. Finishing material were used to keep the surface of the wooden pallets from damage and pests, decay and sunlight. Additionally, the use of Spraycat by C.A. Technologies can also absorb the effects of wood. As a result of this product, several suggestions have been made for improvements, which this table can add a place to store items in order to attract people to use it. In addition, these wood palettes can also be innovated for daily use, tree planting or jewelry.
