Abstract

In this era of globalization, the aquaculture industry is growing rapidly due to increased demand for fish production. To ensure fish production goes smoothly, water quality plays an important role in fish growth. As we know, using traditional methods is very difficult and takes a long time to collect data manually. To solve this problem, Internet of Things (IoT) have been introduced to control water quality in real-time. The system has several sensors to measure values such as temperature and nitrate. The collected data will be sent to the cloud server and can be viewed on the smart device or computer. Warning message will be sent if there is a problem. Verification of portable water quality measurement and smart water quality system will be conducted to confirm that the collected data does not change. The collected data were analyzed using Statistical Package for Social Software (SPSS) to determine the correlation and regression analysis. As a result, the correlation shows the relationship between temperature and nitrate a positive correlation positive slope in all weeks and regression shows that we can predict temperature values for the future. In conclusion, the rise in temperature depends on the increase of nitrate.
