This study on the diversity of Viverridae species conducted in State Land Forest (SLF) Merapoh Pahang. The main objective of this study was to identify and determine the diversity of Viverridae species in State Land Forest Merapoh. A total of 13 camera traps have been used to capture the images of Viverridae species. A total of photos that get is 2968 which is 129 (Human), 365(Blank), 26 (Unknown), 39 (civet) and 2409 (other wildlife). 14 independent photos represent for 4 species of Viverridae that have been detected in State Land Merapoh which is Banded Linsang (Prionodon linsang), Common Palm Civet (Paradoxurus hermaphroditus), Large Indian Civet (Viverra zibetha) and Otter Civet (Cynogale bennettii). The statistical analysis that has been used in this study is Simpson's Diversity to analyse the diversity of Viverridae species in State Land Forest in Merapoh, Pahang. The result of Simpson's Diversity is 0.50. This result show that the diversity of Viverridae in that place getting lesser. The result also show one of the species are classify as Endangered (EN) species in IUCN Red List which is Otter Civet. This species have been decline because of the habitat loss. This study can provide the new record of the Vivveridae species in Merapoh.
