A convenience food called instant noodle has been a popular choice among university student due to the easiness and hassle-free it offered. However, studies found that this instant noodle is negatively affected on performance in academic, health as well as physical activities of the students. Therefore, the purpose of this research are to determine the influences of personal attitude, subjective norms and perceived behavioral control of university students on the intention to consume the instant noodle. Data was collected by conducting quantitative approach which was by distributed 300 questionnaires among university student in Kelantan. The data collected was analysed by using Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) where three analysis had been used to generate the results were descriptive analysis, reliability test and Pearson Correlation. Analysis of the responses demonstrated that the three components of Theory of Planned Behavior showed a relationship to the intention to consume instant noodles. The results showed a positive relationship between personal attitude, subjective norm, and perceived behavioral control to the intention to consume instant noodles. The results indicated that the consumption of instant noodles have an impact among public university students in Kelantan. The students can save their money and time to making the meal even though those instant foods caused harm to them.
