This study investigates the distribution and diversity of the Family Zingiberaceae in Lata Keding, Jeli, Kelantan. The objective is to determine thediversity and to assess abundance of Zingiberaceae Family species in the area. A random sampling method was used, and GPS was used for location tracking. Morphological features were analyzed to identify the species, and photographic evidence was collected. Alpina sp.1 appeared as the most abundant species, with 93 individuals, while Globba sp.1 had the lowest representation with 18 individuals. Thedistribution of other species varies moderately. Color-coded mapping facilitates visualanalysis, aiding in the creation of comprehensive diversity maps.
