Denim jeans are a cotton fabric that is strong and threaded in front rather than the last fabric thread under two or more grain threads. The denim fabric has been used in the United States since the mid -19th century and became famous in 1873 when a tailor from Nevada named Jacob W.Davis produced the first denim pants reinforced with rivets. Men should not fuss over how they look, but they should make more effort to find a way to look good in their individuality. The problem of this study is how to make men feel good in their way through denim based on clothing. What is suitable denim clothing that can fit formal functions? How do you boost men's self-esteem through jeans? A quantitative study was conducted using questionnaires and observations to answer this study. In contrast, the observation method used in this study was conducted in Central Market, Tarik Jeans Sdn Bhd and denim jeans Company/Branch in Kuala Lumpur. The findings of this study are five types of cutting styles: slim-fit jeans, straight-cut jeans, skinny jeans, regular jeans and tapered jeans. Are identified types of cuts that can provide comfort to men, for both the use of denim suitable for formal wear is cut jeans straight. This study also revealed four values for men's confidence through denim: price, quality of a brand, denim cutting style and loyalty to a brand in making decisions through the denim purchase process. Implications from this study can expand the knowledge of research related to denim jeans.
