Knowledge management (KM) needs a systematic approach to develop capabilities which accelerate the evolution of knowledge into a key organizational resource. However, the differential effect of knowledge management is unequal at different job levels, and it facilitates the efficiency and effectiveness of a firm's intellectual resources. The subject of knowledge management processes has been discussed as a recent concept that addresses the processes; knowledge acquisition, knowledge sharing, knowledge application and knowledge protection that can lead to the superiority of the firms and workers effectiveness. In terms of job performance, the knowledge management also plays a crucial role to measure the employee's performance and effectiveness while performing their task. The research will expose that knowledge management indicators have a positive impact on job performance of the private sector employees or nonsignificant impact. The methodology that will be used for this research paper is Likert scale, random sampling, measurement variables and data collection. A questionnaire will be distributed to 182 of private sector employees within Kuala Lumpur and this study will focusing on finance department level. It will also discuss the relationship between knowledge management process and job performance. This paper also seeks for the importance of job performance and the relation between the dimensions. Finally, the effect knowledge management process on the job performance capabilities will be examined.
