Abstract

This study is about creating new knowledge and better understanding on the important of The Factors Affecting Customer Switching Intention in banking industry at Bank Islam Bandar Baru Tunjung, Kota Bharu, Kelantan. The main purpose of this study was to use bench-marking to identify factors that affecting customer switching intention from the current bank to other bank. Customers’ satisfaction towards bank services is considered one of the main reasons that will affected customers bank choices. Due to the competitive marketplace, customer satisfaction has become the important things because banking is a customer oriented service industry. Providing quality services can lead to customer satisfaction and retain the existing customers. The services, the rates, and the fees and prices charged is the key factors that influence customers’ bank selection. Objective of study is to discover the relationship between customer service quality, rates of financing, religious belief and effective advertising with customers’ switching intentions in banking industry at Bank Islam Bandar Baru Tunjung, Kota Bharu, Kelantan.
