Abstract

This study discuss about the impact of using digital batik printing machine towards customer acceptance in Batik Industry at Kota Bharu. The study was focus in Batik industry at Kota Bharu because nowadays, other country like China and Vietnam try to use batik print to monopoly the batik industry. Almost 20% of the sales in Batik Industry at Malaysia has been decreasing because of new printing technology that have been used by other country to produce Batik. As people from other country expand their Batik industry through technology by producing the high quality product with lower price and variety of design, the Malaysian still argue the issue on copyright of the technique in processing Batik and saying that Batik have to be produce in manual to give the high value because it acts as a symbol of Malaysia culture. This research has using quantitative method by collect data from 153 local people that involve in Batik industry. Reliability test, descriptive analysis, Pearson correlation and lastly multiple regression has been use to analyse raw data. The finding had shown that the price, quality, culture and design have positive correlation and significance towards customer acceptance in Batik Industry.
